Hey-o! Just as the title says has anyone tried (or have) to make an addon for audiosurf that makes the view either first-person or 3D?

If you're asking about the stereoscopic 3D, then no, and that's nVidia's thing to do, so you must e-mail them if you want more information, Dylan has nothing to do with that.

If you're asking about the first person view, then it works on all Windows versions Audiosurf runs on...

Yes there is !
It's made by iZ3D : a company that makes it's own 3D monitor and 3D driver.
The driver has a free unlimited mode for anaglyph (red/cyan) glasses.

It works with XP and vista, 32 and 64 bit (windows 7 is still beta).
And the great thing is that since it's not proprietary to a graphics card manufacturer it works with any nvidia and ATi graphics card.
get it here : http://www.iz3d.com

see a video of audiosurf with this 3D driver here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0pELZb_mVc

The anaglyph mode is completely free and unlimited (for red & blue glasses).
The other modes are for 3D displays and come with 30-days trial period, after that you have to buy a license (50$)

Audiosurf is somewhat playable with anaglyph red & blue glasses, you have to tweak the colours a lot though and it's hard. (mono is almost unplayable)
A true 3D screen is much much better.

I started playing around with these 3D drivers and red/cyan glasses about 2 years ago and I bought recently the Zalman 22" 3D monitor (different from the nvidia 120Hz thing) and Audiosurf is a blast in true 3D.

Cool

I might give this a quick go and wait until windows 7 is released then use the nvidia (red cyan) thing with windows 7

How are other games with this 3d driver without the 3d screen?
