Too bad Asus isn't the same, I have to create a boot disk, copy an AFUDOS.exe and the ROM file into it, and then copy the ROM file from the diskette to the motherboard, reboot and then actually install it 

The new ASUS boards actually have the really easy flash too.  You have to buy a good overclocker's board though.  Something like the Stryker Extreme (out of production but better than the new one) and the new Maximus (still a good board...but the stryker has better heatpipes for the CPU.  ASUS did update the southbridge and northbridge cooling on the maximus though.)

Well, BigYeti, my motherboard isn't THAT new (P5PE-VM) but, luckily it had the EZ-Flash utily, so I just copied the new ROM file, rebooted, pressed ALT+F2 on POST and everything was automatically ^^.

It feels like Windows' more smooth right now, and AS too but it won't let me overclock the micro, though
