And hopefully if this forum is to be pulled from the gutter, you'll lose mod.

Ok, now THAT's being an asshole.

Done. All things considered, and hopefully this should put an end to all the stuff that's been happening for the last few weeks.
Back to the thread at hand. Virus have you tried overclocking your process for lulz yet? I wouldn't usually recommend it, but the Core Duo has reasonable reliablity on it.

Hell yeah, but the processor (I don't think so) or the motherboard (most probably) won't let me overclock it :(

I have to make up for the faggotry created by the mods, it's hard to match up.

I miss the old Cody. Would you make FalconFour get out your personality? ^^

Discuss then.

I bought a E4500 - 2.20ghz 2.19ghz, it's what my money and motherboard let me buy. It's totally amazing jumping from a Celeron 2.8 from a Core 2 Duo E4500, though :D

Oh, the motherboard is an Asus P5PE-VM.

What do you think that don't let me overclock the processor? The processor per se or the motherboard?

Mine is actually an E4400. I had to read up on it to make sure that it was ok to Overclock, and you should probably do the same too if you ever consider it. Went from 2Ghz to 2.50 and it works ok... I just worry about the thing overhearing.

Ok, will do that ^^

Just for knowing, would you recommend me a webpage? Spanish webpages aren't good at hardware things :-\

Cody, there are just big red Xs xD

EDIT: :o i just read that my motherboard needs to be flashed in order to work with Core 2 Duos properly! Scary, but I'll have to give it a try.

We may never see you again, but good luck and godspeed. It's better to just try and read into the processor by searching for it. I didn't use any guides, I just did it with no fear of it breaking.

I'm not sure if I will do it, maybe I'll just send the PC to a technic... I prefer paying him to flash the mother rather than screwing all my mother up :-\

EDIT: On a side note, did you noticed that this post went through a very big difference of posts? First, me making the joke, SPAM, discussion, topic restored xD

Flashing mine was as easy as opening an exe and restarting my pc.

Too bad Asus isn't the same, I have to create a boot disk, copy an AFUDOS.exe and the ROM file into it, and then copy the ROM file from the diskette to the motherboard, reboot and then actually install it  >:(
