I got it for other reasons, as did Locke (at least we both think that is the case). You all just assume that it was because of the guides I wrote.
The comment I made was just a general sweeping statement about what a lot of you reg's seem to think, because you're all such drama queens when it comes to locking a thread.

It's as if you had all just walked in from GameFAQ's, honestly.

i have not seen any occurrences of the sort.  i think you're just still mad because they kept deleting your posts that night you were yelling at everyone.

The majority of his posts are bad, and a lot we mods wonder why we even have power too... but when Cody posts, we remember our true purpose.

Nothing to do with them just doing it to me, they did it to you locking the topic called Cody900, you broke no rules, yet they locked anyway.

They do take personal emotions into account when they edit/lock/delete topics, and that's what we called a corrupt moderator, they're supposed to not take sides.

as if it really mattered. we hardly lock anything as it is. the most we've had to do was lock 90% of falconfour's stuff, delete a ton of rambling cursings / etc from cody, and fix a few offtopic things

Call-out thread. Plus it was shitty and brought nothing but "har har injokes time" to the chat, and that's really sad. The same way that a lot of the IRC based commentry on here is lame as well.

Give me a good reason why I shouldn't be a moderator. I love to hear criticism.

It's the chat section first off, it's supposed to be light-humoured and entertaining, it's your opinion that it's sad. I didn't find it sad, and Laser didn't either as he made it.

"Plus it was shitty", that's EXACTLY what I'm talking about, you thought it was shitty so you locked it, no one else thought it was shitty and it broke no rules at all, THAT'S being a biased and unfair mod. You didn't even ask me if I wanted it removed, which you should of.

Calling us lame? Yeah, thanks, Pwn edit his post, he's insulting me, and flaming isn't allowed. But oh no you won't edit his post, because you're going to make up reasons so he's exempt from the rules. Typical of corrupt moderators.

Why should I have to ask you if I think a thread about you needs to be closed/removed when I can just assume that the rest of the thread will be a load of crap anyway (lol experiance, I know a bad thread when I see one). Sure, I'm judging threads by my own standards and things because I know how to keep a community happy. When you make threads like "Lets look at Cody900 and his awesome posts", you start to shut off the rest of the community at the sake of your own humour and injokes. You might not agree, but i've been posting on forums for around 10 years now. I've been moderator numerous times and i've done some real stupid things and learned from them. I've even seen stupid forum wars esculate from one or two crappy moderator decisions and seen how a forum can go from bad to worse because of just a few people.

You have to remember that your opinion does not encompass the entire forum, and what you find funny isn't going to be funny to others.

And believe me, if I wanted to flame you, I would of already lost my privlages for it.

Because it's about me and breaking no rules. As it's personal and directed towards me you should of asked. When I made a thread about giZm being gay, Dylan PM'd giZm asking if he wanted the thread removed, you should of done likewise.

So all of a sudden you're the voice of the hundreds who visit this forum? You know what everyone wants? That's dictatorship speech if I've ever heard it.

That's not what it said at all. You're doing exactly what I said above, you're twisting it to fit your own needs trying to justify the lock. Go and actually read what Laser said.

Shutting off the community? How in any respect is that shutting off the community? If anything, locking it shuts off the community.

And so have I. The difference is, it seems you haven't learned anything as you're still a biased, opinion-orientated mod. Look how this is escalating, and it's because of exact same thing, moderators making stupid decisions.

Oh how ironic. How very ironic. Just a few sentences ago you're saying you know how to make the whole community happy with your decisions, and now you're using the exact same thing as an argument? Hypocrite much?

Ok, I agree with that, I think that Cody sometimes acts like: "OMFG! LOOK AT ME!! LOOK AT WHAT I DID!! WOOOW!" (I still like the FF personality merged into Cody joke, though)

I don't have any proof of that, sorry.
I will believe you anyway as there's no necesity in lying on a game's forum.

You have to remember that your opinion does not encompass the entire forum, and what you find funny isn't going to be funny to others.

That's right, but, what if it does? what if i like cody jokes and i would like to keep the thread unlocked? have you ever asked the people on this forum if they like or not his jokes?

I really made this topic with the intention of a joke.
What joke, you ask? The one that "? he just bougth a Core 2 Duo and he's so serious and... well.. unhappy even he's saying he is?" But then suddenly it became this sort of say-what-you-think-about-mods thread. Which I really like anyway...
