And a tag which enables powerups in Mono would be nice too :)

[as-everybodymono] then play as Vegas.
Some of the powerups will create blocks that won't clear on their own though.

I use [as-everybodymono] [as-lessgrey] @ Ironmode

Its much better now..

Thank you for the tip with Vegas.
That you have to watch out for the fact that other colored blocks which doesnt produce a match adds also a little difficulty increase^^ You can solve the problem if it happened with a Paint powerup.
And you can prevent it by using these grid fill powerups at a good moment where a full match can be done.

This makes mono much better imo.

Unfortunately its of course these tags and have my own scoreboards with this..
So you find modes which you like personal better, but have no opponents anymore xD

EDIT: O.O Why I dont get points of for example red block match, if the paint powerup does actually this? I get the normal mono match points..... Thats shit.... :( With this you have no advantage with paint powerups here :(

Disabling Overfill in other mode could be that the row which overfilled is just cleared and the delay when you can collect further blocks could stay. I think this is punishment enough. I dont see why it must be, that you get reduced by sometimes 10000 points which is not a small amount for the non-pro players.

2nd its really pity that you can write here for nothing, because audiosurf isnt developed anymore further.
Why there is a feature request forum, when you'll never get any feature, because game dev is dead? :(

Sure we'll help, if we knew exactly what the issue was. Please explain more, possibly open a thread in 'troubleshooting' with a detailed description of what's wrong.

Why? It would just be replicating [as-nogrey]

Also, don't use the move tag.

I don't know if anyone has brought this up or not, but I had an idea with the tag organization. The problem with the method described  by Dylan, is that the only way to recognize without memorization that the correct tag order was used is to refer to this post. I suggest an alternative. Use alphabetical ordering. That way you can visually see if the tag is in the correct order without having to look here.

Example:

Without looking, do you know if the order for this is correct?

Chop Suey [as-steep] [as-msz5] [as-caterp] [as-prows8]

It's not. It would have been...

Chop Suey [as-caterp] [as-msz5] [as-prows8] [as-steep]

And in this case, it is also in alphabetical order (c, m, p, s)

But how about this?

Ring of Fire [as-steep] [as-swind] [as-monoonly] [as-msz6] [as-nostlth]

Out of order, the standard here is...

Ring of Fire [as-monoonly] [as-nostlth] [as-swind] [as-msz6] [as-steep]

So our order is... M(o), N, S(w), M(s), S(t)? Not much sense, and I wouldn't have been able to form it without looking at the forum... so, in alphabetical, it would be...

Ring of Fire [as-monoonly] [as-msz6] [as-nostlth] [as-steep] [as-swind]

Easy, and I didn't need to look at a reference...

tl;dr: uh, are these tags correct?  ??? we should use alphabetical ordering dude.  :P

IIRC YAAP (Yet Another Audiosurf Player (search for it)) applies the tags in the right order without you having to do anything other than tick a box.

Indeed it does, and while it's helpful, it does require an extra piece of software besides the game, which it fine for everyone already using it. An in-game tag editor would be nice still yet, which would nullify any need for a more humanly recognizable solution.

Though at the same time, kill the need for the community built addon.

While I partially agree with you, so much effort has been put into creating addons by the community, to remove the need would be undoing a lot of effort on our behalf. Coming from someone who did develop an addon application, and helped in the building of others ;)

I would love that idea and i think it's gonna be hard to find people to compete against though, with so many possibilities
and [as-4lane] seems to bugged with (at least) Pointman Elite (no Ironmode).

sometimes the AS radio songs have tags on them, but idealing you would just play with friends, and make sure there files are tagged the same way.

got about 30 people on steam friends that play a lot of AS so it isnt hard to orginze something like that.
