Audiosurf Mod Manager

Well I guess I'm FINALLY ready to release version 1.0 of my mod manager! Pulled an all-nighter to finish the create mod code.

The biggest change you'll notice is the graphics. Super uber duper thanks to xairu for making the buttons!

Changes in v1.0:

- Graphics! O: Background + buttons
- Create Mod function - choose the files individually and create a mod
- Audiosurf Wiki - Browse the new Audiosurf Wiki (Hosted by xairu @ http://wiki.xairu.net)
- Audiosurf Scoreboards - Find score scores for any artist/song you wish.
- Background song "enigma" - Thanks to Pwn for that.
- Credits page - All the thanks'.
- Re-wrote nearly all of the code due to the graphics. T.T
- Removed some unneeded listboxes/buttons
- Some code optimisations

That concludes my bad attempt at a changelog.

For creating a mod, I suggest you get all the files you need before adding them, so you only need to click Add once. When you click it more than once, it goes kind of dodgy.

As most of this is re-written, there are still probably some errors and things I haven't hidden or set properly. Please let me know!! I also want to know about the layout and what you think. I can never improve it without feedback!

Coming next release

- Choose individual files for current mods (Like creating a mod but for current mods)
- Audiosurf score calculator - Like posted in the other topic, calculate your run scores
- Audiosurf videos - Same as the Wiki, but to the Audiosurf video's website
- (Maybe if he lets me) The 360 joystick fix as posted in the other topic

Enjoy.

I was told there would be music included in the program itself. I hear no music!
Other than this obvious lacking, its a nifty app Shocked

I've been asking for you to recommend some! Get a good one, convert it into a format that people can actually play, and send it to me!

On a side note, finally done that bastard loop in the create mod code so it IS going to be in the next release! Relief for me.

Audiosurf scoreboards! - Enter song name and artist, and it'll display the casual, pro and elite top 10 for
                                  that song.

or you could use www.audiosurfstats.com or some other like place

Or you could let him program his own. We, those who surf the forums regularly and frequent the IRC channel, know of these sites and even those who run them.

About the music, the developer is supposed to make his own ; )

Well you don't have to use it, I just realised how easy it would be to implement, so why not? It's just there if you ever want it....

I can't play .xm D:

If you find a Delphi library that supports playing them, then be my guest and find it and I'll put it in. Tongue

It's 8MB, so no. And if I were to put a song on it, it's be an ambient thing, something that's just there, but you don't really notice it.
