My Fun Encounter Run
« on: April 05, 2008, 08:30:02 am »
Just recorded me hitting every single red block in that track, except the one of the last ones to keep clean finish. This is by no means the highest attainable score I just wanted to pick up every single one because I can :). Didn't use widen once either.

I really feel sorry for all you folks that have to play with sub 100fps. I can hardly play at 90fps(which is what I record at) because I feel that a lot of my mouse responsiveness is gone. No way I would be able to do this at even sub 70fps.

Mate I'm playing at 48 fps and I think it's fine ;D

Although I know what you mean with the 100fps thing, it's very noticeable and smooth as I used to be able to play games at that frame rate a few years ago.

Nice vid, hertz..

Man, here I am stuck with sub-30 FPS! D: I came so close to ironmode stealthing encounter last night a few times.. made it to about 250k into the run then hit a grey block.. at least three times D:

Normally, my fps sits around 30-33, so I end up seeing each frame twice because of my 75hz monitor D:

wow, I guess it is indeed something that you can get used to, but I think if played at 48fps I wouldn't even be able to stealth it, let alone pick everything up.

I wonder...
Have you played the song before or something? It almost looked like you knew when and where the cars came from!!

They obviously say "...lyspære, lyspære, lyspære..." which is the norwegian word for lightbulb. Even my sister agreed with me, can't be wrong here. Sorry to crush your theory, mate :(

I'm quite sure it says "headbanger" with a doodleydoo melody and beats that aren't far off a machine gun. I could be wrong however  :D
