Yeah i thought i was going crazy until i was recording a bunch of vids today and noticed on the failed ones that it wasn't really my fault at all.

Happens on other chars as well, not just Pusher. Some blocks are still disappearing.

I wasn't able to reproduce undeserved overfills, but I rewrote a lot of that code and possibly fixed it by accident. Patch coming tomorrow.

Cody900: You're right, a block could be lost if multiple were sent to the same column in rapid succession and one after the first needed to trigger a match collection in order to have a place to land. Fixed.

Dylan, what about the aforementioned premature cascade ending problem on elite?

I didn't really want it to be fixed, it was kind of like a safety guard. >:

You didn't reply to any of the bugs I listed a few pages back.

Cody900: The bug you reported that concerns me most is the one about it lagging after being open for an hour. I haven't been able to reproduce that yet. I assume it didn't look like a memory leak.

folo4: Still looking at that. I haven't noticed a problem yet.

I've had AS running for very long periods of time with no detectable lag

I really love the new (04.30) beta patch. I noted three bugs though:

  • The folder name of the last folder when selecting music is invisible (see attachement) but still selectable
  • Broken menu backround is still there (see here http://www.audio-surf.com/forum/index.php/topic,3123.0.html)
  • When I used Vegas the random power up I got was always the 'red lightning', I guess that's not what random is supposed to mean (only tested on one song, I do more testing later).

And thank you very much for your dedicated work on AS Dylan.

Hey Dylan, the first and the second bug are still in the final steam version of the patch. Hope they get fixed (especially number two is annoying).

Shouldn't this topic get closed? I mean there is no beta patch at this moment and the new beta patch should get it's own thread.

It would've been fine if it was just left alone :P
I don't see any need to close it. We'll see.

A new update being out doesn't mean that there won't be any more betas, so why not keep this thread?

Because it's 'cluttered' with a few hunderd posts that aren't relevant anymore. Well, a lot of them aren't relevant anymore.

Ok, so it doesn't have to be closed, but at least make a new thread for the new beta patch (if there will be any [probaly]).
