After that update, resizing the window when not maximized, will make the highway dissapear.

scrobbling works for me, and the game appears to be a lot faster. especially the premium mode has improved, it's nearly playable on 4xAA, maybe a little jerky. no go with the official version with my graphics card (GeForce 7600GS/256MB with Omega Drivers). enhanced 8xAA is superfluent =)
great work there. still annoyed by the pixel-shader-blur though

edit: just noticed, in premium mode in a few cases (nearly) the whole tunnel-texture seems to be rendered, not just the white parts. looks like a square with a hole in it. I don't know if this has happened in the official version, as I have never played on premium before. on enhanced everything is fine

Does anyone know why I can't get the file into my Audio-Surf folder? It keeps saying "Password required" or something when I extract it. Any other way to get it in there? PM or reply please!

That's odd... the zip file is not password protected.

What program are you using to open the zip file?

I'm not using any programs, I'm just using the one built into the system, the file extraction wizard...

Windows XP? Vista? If you double click on the program can you see the files and drag and drop them to the folder?

I have XP. Am I supposed to replace the Engine Folder in the current Audio-Surf folder with the new one? If so, It says "Access Denied"...

Pretty cool new stuff.  I'm really liking using freeride without focus.  One request that I have though is that if it's at all possible, I'd like to see all the keys on the left side of the board move the ship left, and likewise for the right.  I think it might make for a more interesting experience while typing.  Maybe even if you had it only move the ship a third of a lane over?  Really liking the new stuff though!  Thanks.

Yes you need to replace the engine folder. You might need to change your folder permissions. Do you have full admin access to your system?

Redownload Audiosurf on Steam so you have the latest version, then install the Beta-Patch.

Ask your dad to replace the engine folder for you...
