Wow - tons of great feedback already. Thanks!

I hadn't noticed that it still takes keyboard input. Hopefully I can find a fix for that. Accepting the mouse input is kinda fun though (and distracting).

As far as when the track is scrobbled, the audioscrobbler spec spelled that out:
--Whichever comes first: 240 seconds or half the song. Songs with a total length less than 30 seconds are not scrobbled.

Unlimited song length: I bypassed my own error check. Nice. How did your hour long track play? Did you notice any depth fighting in the polygons where which one was determined to be closer to the camera would pop back and forth?

I only let it run for about 10 minutes. I'll go back and poke around with it. But in those 10 minutes i didn't see any issues.

Also i suppose that makes sense from the scrobbling time then. I knew they did half the song, i wasn't aware of the 240 seconds

That should be enough. The fighting should be worst at the beginning and end.

Wow, that freeride is really good :)
And about last.fm scrobbling, I don't even care about last.fm.. :D

The unfocused freeride works with windowed mode, but repeatedly grabs focus using fullscreen.

The tooltip that comes up when I hover a button on the taskbar turns Audiosurf into a slideshow. Weird.

I don't have that issue... You're not in vista getting fancy realtime window renders are you :P

So - Im at work now... loaded the beta... moved the game to a smaller window in the corner of my screen and generated a random .m3u playlist and its running on Freeride now.

Loveing it.

Owner just came by to see what that was on my screen ;)

Good thing they went for the quadcore here at my work... so I can still work while it runs. Least when the game itself doesnt distract me and i start aiming the mouse for blocks  :P

I'm lovin' this! I just downloaded it not that long ago. Time to dig through all my favorite...and not so favorite albums once again :)

I'm using Vista right now (on my laptop), and have had zero errors while playing or signing into the Last.fm login window. I checked back to the Last.fm website to verify now-and-then that it was in fact scrobbling, and it was :D I thought for sure that it wouldn't work with Vista, because lately every little thing complains with that OS.

Thank you! ;D

I've had this happen with other applications as well, drops frame rate down and lags the mouse like hell. And yeah, it happens with Audiosurf for me as well.

Oh, and, I'm also able to play enhanced with 8x AA now and have absolutely no lag. Frames stay the same, ~30-40, but thats liveable with AA IMO. And premium is now almost playable for me :) works good on slow songs, just mouse responsivenes lags a bit when it speeds up.

Cool patch, whatever you did do it some more! :P

Ok... I seem to be having some trouble.  I've never used last.fm before... so I'm not sure what's supposed to happen.... but I have the last.fm option enabled in audiosurf... and nothing changes on my music profile on last.fm when I play a song.  Any suggestions?

Did you supply the correct Last.FM username and password in the fields?

Yes... I've retyped them both 3 times now to be sure.

Works on mine D:

Are you sure you pressed the scrobble to last.fm? :P

As a last resort, you could delete options.cgr and try again..

Shoot me an email if the problem continues. If you don't mind telling me your username/password (in email) I could take a look.

The download link has been updated with some notes in the first post.
