I never said there was anything wrong with it. I just made one so it has an interface instead of being text-based, and for most people on Windows, they don't have Python installed, and so I'd offer this alternative to those who don't want to install Python solely to use this.

"My" Python one? The Python script isn't mine.

Everyone should have Python installed, if only for the reason that it's way better than then calculator that comes with Windows. Perl is optional though ;)
I can also heartily recommend 7zip. But it would be nice if all mod packages were in the standard ZIP format. SkiDesignS, if you want to re-zip you mod, I'll be happy to update the list.

Meh, I haven't found a use for it so far, and installing 75MB for a mod manager ain't something I'm too keen on. :P

Did you know that Soldat was made using Perl :D
I might install it, simply to try this out.

I dunno if it's just me, but with winrar I can rename a .rar to a .zip, and it still unzips fine.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could convert from one format to another just by changing the extension?
I'm afraid your method won't help those without WinRAR much though, SN3S.
