Firefox logo, Vauxhall logo and Unbuntu logo instead of gold silver bronze??
Not to mention the interesting choice of iPhones for the character select screen.  I'm not touching those links.

Copying jpg/png texture files? yes. Installing mysterious applications? no.

Not to mention the hit texture is really distracting.
Australia is kinda awesome, but it's no Yorkshire.

This is a widespread program to create texture addons for various 3D games that run under DirectX9.

no one here has heard of it, and when we don't know someone we don't usually want to run executables from them just in case.

@Mixazzz, if you want to share something, you can try out with already modified game engine file, instead of sharing executables. This way people who are scared from malicious software, will be able to simply extract from a ZIP/RAR the files which will do the job, by (re)placing them in the game directory.

Kind of, but not quite the same thing.

I would react by asking you if you just traveled in a time machine from the past, ask if you are from the 1920's.  If anyone ever met a person who actually owned a pocket watch, they were probably around in the 1920's :P  Then I would ask you if you could bring me back a top hat your next visit :P

Guys, can you please keep on-topic. This is a really nice thread about mods, let's not make it a spam thread. I would request a moderator to clean mine + a few more posts so people would keep releasing mods for AS. :) Thanks.

Yes do not know what to say vat. Just the thing that is changed the texture of which does not lie in the clear in the game directory, so I made a texture mod with TexMod.

Well, I uchtu your suggestions and I will pack in the future .rar / .zip archive.

P.S. I just thought you knew about this program.  ???

I have a fashion to the game without using the EXE. http://www.audio-surf.com/forum/index.php/topic,2498.msg52943.html#msg52943, so I thought that people would be more trusting, knowing my previous work.

I'm not sure this is the proper place to post this, but I didn't want to start a new topic for such a little thing.

I've tried using skyspheres, but the texture is really zoomed in - I only see a part of it, and it's quite blurry. I've tried 2048x1024 and 4096x2048 and 1920x1080 (which is my native resolution). It's the same thing for all of them.

This deserves it's own thread imo.



Skyspheres are wrapped all the way around, so they need to be longer ;)

As the image is wrapped round a sphere, the image width becomes the circumference of the sphere. For images which aren't wide enough (compared to their height), they get stretched, making them look zoomed in. In theory the image needs to be of ratio 2:1 of width to height.
