Street lamps are SWEET!  I think the Highway ones may need to be a little bit bigger, or a little bit shorter.  They seem a bit too tall to me.

That said, I am using them already, badass, man.

Thanks!  ;D.

Sadly, me being an idiot, I failed to save my .psd file which had my benchmarks for the track sides and such. I'll get to it tomorrow after I get some rest. I'll also work on white background lights.

This is basically a "fog of war" mode for fast songs.

LOL! Though I can't play Audiosurf seriously with all these glowly textures and nice graphics. Its all distracting. I'm going back to Normal graphics and default textures :P.

And also, Portal textures for Audiosurf!

Nice set :)

You could probably fake some "fog" near the track itself, but it may accumulate on distant hills and block your view of blocks.

I ended up lowering the opacity even more on my own near-track "foglines".

I've made a mod based on one of my favourite games, Thief.

So, Keeper glyphs for the fireworks. I don't recognise the rest of the effects. Did you improvise or should I go install the games again? :P

Perhaps for the graphical thickies here, I should write a guide on how to get it all to work perfectly.

haven't played it yet, but the streetlamps are pretty cool. i'd like a copy of your psd template for screen position...

anyway, here's another full set, black and white (rings, hit markers, fireworks).
i wanted to try my hand with the square idea since i thought about it all day yesterday.

you can kinda see the hit marker, it works well, clean. i love this ring. this entire theme is way more fun than my last one (orleans).

these are the fireworks, hence the name tetris on the zip.
im liking this theme, works well in black and in white.

here's the zip if anyone wants it, all files are in there for both colors (unzip to textures folder after backing up files):

iccy, i'd like to see a technical guide out. not much to it, but maybe i'd learn something new or have some exact numbers to work by.

what are you guys using for your mods? i'm currently using Fireworks CS3, as i know all the adobe keyboard shortcuts. seems to do everything i want and quickly.

merquryman:
that's friggin great with the sideways posts over the street, i started laughing at that one. then i stopped cause i was planning on modifying the side walls. damn. it all goes out the window with corkscrews i guess....
