You tried those ingame? It's very hard to distinguish between an overfill and regular blocks. Plus it's skinny so it's hard to make out what color the blocks are.

Also make sure it's a .png with a transparent background, because right now it looks horrible on white background.

The image is labeled particles3.jpg for a reason.

the particles are slightly higher resolution (600x600) but I included the standard 128x128 where it was appropriate.

Whoa!
Now thats just wacky!
Anyone know whats causing that and how I can fix it?
I cant seem to replicate it on my pc.

Did you modify my textures at all?

Not liking the off-centered gray pinwheel thingy on the first picture.

Thats the broken grey box texture, i didn't like that I couldn't see the original that well so I wanted to do something more visible.
I guess I could try to make a more visible cracking texture.

It was my fault, don't worry. :P I was trying to just use your circles with my current mod, and I ended up putting the 128x128 circle texture in tiles.png, but then using the big 256x256 tileflyup.png texture with it, so you just end up seeing a corner of it, lol. :P

Really nice textures Sub7th :) but I also agree about the blocks in mono... Is there any chance of you making a standard grey circle for these please?

I didn't like the original circles, it was way too hard to see what blocks you hit 'cause the colour was so dark and small. I just changed them a bit so it didn't fade, now I can see my blocks properly and it's great.

People have spoken and they dont like the off center, gray circle bursty thingy!

I have a project to finish tonight but I'll see what I can come up with tomorrow.

I have another idea for some textures I was gunna mess with tomorrow too.

Now, can anyone mod the engine to check for more than one texture or particle per track load?  Randomized mod textures would be sweet, and I have a great idea for how to use them for a space theme.  4 is never enough, if I could make 6 sets of particles that randomize between songs it would be way cool. 

Since Dylan is probably quite busy improving audiosurf and raising it's compatibility for the future perhaps one of you might know how to do this?
