Audiosurf's background track
« on: February 28, 2008, 12:12:27 am »
Can anybody tell me what is the name of the track which AS plays when you are in the menus and before begin playing the song you've chosen? I like it very much and I wanna ride it but I couldn't find in the sound directory of the game. :(

It's circuit_breakdown.ogg in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\audiosurf\engine\laddermusic :)

(and it also seems to be the single most hated audible masterpiece in all of history. I kinda like it.)

I always install my all games in D:\GAMES and I suppose that the path will be like D:\GAMES\AudioSurf\engine\laddermusic, right? Thanks for the reply, by the way. :)

It would be: D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\audiosurf\engine\laddermusic probably. Steam automatically puts games in \Steam\steamapps so wherever you installed steam is where you should start looking. (Unless you're one of the people who bought it before it was on steam.)

I like it too, but any tune gets annoying when you hear it again and again and again and again and again and...well you get the point.  I edited mine so there is no music playing at all.

I don't mind the actual music too much, but it does get highly annoying after a while.
