For some vuagely odd reason, my account keeps changing its password. I write all of my passwords down in a safe place, and I know it's right. This is the third time now of resetting, and I've waited all night for the new password. wtf?

That probably means somebody knows the email that goes with your account name.

And your e-mail password, because now it sends a confirmation e-mail before changing the password...

A couple months ago my account seized to work.
I've had it for over a year now and it worked fine for a long time.

The password kept being incorrect in spite of being saved as usual.

I just tried resetting it with the link in the OP, but to no avail, it still says invalid with the new one I received in the mail.

Any clues?

I am having trouble logging in after re-installing.  I had the username and password noted down, but they no longer work.  I was puzzled why the username message box had an e-mail address template in it, so I tried both the e-mail address and username.  No good. 
So, I try and change the password.  My e-mail address is exactly 1 character longer than the text box in the reset web page.

Is it possible to make that e-mail text box just a tiny bit longer?  Judging by the other comments on this topic, I am not the only one with a problem here.

EDIT: I am trying to re-register. It looks like the registration system has changed since the last time I used it, as my 31 character long e-mail address is now too long to fit in the e-mail box in the Create Account screen. (It only accepts 24 characters).  This e-mail address used to be ok.

    As with most people in this thread, I too am having issues resetting my password. I filled out the password reset form, then I promptly received an e-mail asking me to confirm by clicking a link, after which I receive this message:

"Thanks! You'll receive an email with your new password right away."

I have tried this twice, the second time after about an hour. It has now been about 12 hours since I last tried, so I was wondering if the server is down for the weekend or something, or whether I should continue trying.

You should continue trying, maybe check your spam folder.
It's strange that the servers are down...

Thanks Virus, it did go to my spam folder, but it is weird that the first e-mail (coming from the same sender) did not go to my spam folder both times I reset my password.

i haven't played AS in a few months...
anyway i played a song and its like  "you need to log in", my name + pass were already there so i just clicked the login button and it failed... i don't remember my pass so i reset it but that one doesn't work either i just get "login failed, try again"...
