HL2: DM, anyone?
« on: February 25, 2008, 01:49:31 am »
Well, anyone that plays Audiosurf has Steam. Chances are, most of you also have an nVidia card, which means you get Half-Life 2: Deathmatch for free (at least, as of this post).

Anyone up for a game? I really want to kick some arse and try gaining some long lost credibility back (yeah, I un-did the Vista block, for those that care).  ;D

Substitute 'HL2:DM' with 'TF2', and you're on!   ;)

Funny you should mention that. I randomly hopped online last night and played a few games. Forgot how fun (and often hilarious) it is! I also joined a server with some kind of low gravity mod, which confused me for quite some time owing to my state of mind at said time.

Anyway, I usually play as Jim and my steam account is jameshighmore, add me as a friend if you want because I have no idea of how to set up games or anything.

I would. But I suck in both games.

PS: you also get HLČ:DM with an ATI-card.

Wait, where? I don't mean bundled with a new card though, I mean anyone that ever owned an nVidia card can get it on Steam ;)

Bastard, little, double-talking, scheming, backstabbing sons of bitches. *shakes fist in futile rage*

"Look, we love nVidia so much we give them free games! Hah, screw you ATI!"
*hides ATI page*

I dislike Steam a little now...

The ATI-Offer existed for a very long time before the nvidiaoffer. I was almost willing to buy HLČ:DM, because it was not included in the Orangebox when suddenly the nvidiaoffer came to life.

Plus I *have* been wanting to try Portal....get 11 levels of it or something...

Well, if anyone's up for a game, I'm having a major rollercoaster ride of a day today, so I need some shotgun-induced therapy.

What do you have to search by in Steam? I can't even seem to find myself in there, so I don't know what I could say to help anyone find me... o_O
