This thread has ONE topic and ONE POST: These are topics NOT to post about. How are you missing that fact? This topic's title is NOT "Post your feature requests"! Seriously, this shouldn't even be up for debate! It's one post to outline one list - in one post at the top of this thread - of things not to post about!

God, I've got to get off this forum, this is making my brain hurt! I really didn't think people were capable of such things... we are IN the FEATURE REQUESTS FORUM. It is a FORUM for TOPICS about features. Not one thread about features! Stop posting your feature requests in here!

This makes me look like a huge ass, and I really wish someone else would come in here and *ahem* do their job so I don't have to! The only reason I look like an ass is because I don't have a modstick to back it up with...

Did you actually read the OP? The last line clearly says to post anything that's been missed off...

As already mentioned above Generic game pad support and if possible LastFM support.

Has any disscussion taken place regarding a skin editor or some sort of SDK?
The ability to create new ship skins, blocks, tracks etc,  I think custom content to use and share would be a great addition.

Cheers.

i would really like to see a random/shuffle button, that would randomly select a song from a folder/subfolders, because sometimes i am lazy and don't want to search through thousands of songs.

I'd be happy with the ability to bind axises and buttons for game controllers.  Done correctly, I could be able to get my joystick to work with this.

Lastly, I'd love to have a giant log of all the scores I've ever posted too, similar to the My Songs list, only spanning the entire history of you playing.  It wouldn't have to be much more than just a big text log file that the game writes and draws info from.

Seconded.

Absolutly, Thirdeded (or tripled or something)

Song Tag support, or something that reads the songs and sorts them like Winamp does. Where it can take a huge mess of a collection and turn it into a nice and easy list of artists>albums>songs.

To be able to set up a sequence of songs (say 5 or so) that you can lay down as a 'challenge' league. Then people can enter your legue and attempt all 5 (or however many) songs in a row (perhaps with breaks) and try to beat your score....

I would love Dylan to show his to-do list. That would actually stop many posters from requesting the same things over and over again.

Dual 360 controller support.
I thank you for making both thumbsticks work on 1 controller, but really , i dont want to be "holding hands" on the same controller with a friend.
Anyway to make it so i can use 1 controller, and a friend can use another controller?

this thread, and all the other ones for that matter are incredibly prolific and monolithic in their size. and as such, i dont think its possible for me to read them all without falling asleep right now, so sorry if my ideas have already been repeated.

i thought it would be cool to have a pause button (not the options menu) and when its paused, you can see how much of the song is left up close, a fast forward button, or the ability to click anywhere to skip to apart of the song.

possibly a "next song" feature in the options menu or before mentioned media toolbar.

for these ideas to work tho you'd have to make it so either the player can turn off the online themselves, or it turns off when you choose to use said features.

which brings me to my next point, offline gameplay, pretty much be exactly the same but practically no waiting time after the song, no "searching for *blank* by *blank*...", just your stats, and then bam, straight into gameplay again.

customizable chars. not like....piece by piece, but you pick a model, then you pick the abilities it has.

customizable bgs. like....instead of just black grey and white. be able to pick your own colors. or even upload widescreen photos would be cool.

it'd be cool if you could pick the color of the track in pointman mode and stuff.

lol christ im a whinger.

just thought they'd be cool ideas.

oh and it needs to come with more songs, be able to customize the mouse speed through the program not control panel, oh and something like a slow motion feature would be ridiculously useful/stupid/silly/butcool.

im done now.

how about a way of setting a 'one player at a time' multiplayer league, so that you can challenge mates and take turns on various songs

or at least be able to easily switch between users so we can compete whilst in person at the same computer...
