There's a hacky way of getting DirecX objects as a wallpaper as well, I've played a film as my wallpaper before.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's using the 'overlay' function that was implemented back in Win98 originally (possibly Win95 even)

Indeed, I used to do that in WinXP to confuse people, though made using the machine (P4, 256MB RAM) fairly unusable. for anything else. I'd also stumbled on the webpage as a wall paper feature, though again it was fairly pointless due to the level of unusability.

If by "awesome" you mean worthless and insulting. Oh, but I see it's missing a key element of foolish pseudoscience bullshit called "Darwinian Evolution".

Here's what my desktop has looked like more or less for the last 3~4 years (shrunk down 20%). I still use 32-bit XP Pro. I'm planning a hardware and OS upgrade in the near future.
