It just looks that way, that's all. :P It has excellent chaining capabilities plus a 100% clear bonus with whatever blocks you hit with the Pusher form. Chaining gaps with the Dual Eraser mode would be pretty hard. However, you said that it has a 200% cross bonus, so it probably could work out after all.

That just reminds me that I would also like to see some Dual Vision Pusher or Dual Vision Pointman. The latter would be almost impossible to play on anything but really slow songs, but it would be fun anyway.

i think just some new ship skins would be good right now.

if i had some car skins right now, i'd be happy with that. like, a Volvo 240 GLT (would be a skin for Mono), a Porsche 911 Turbo (would be a skin for Mono Pro... jumping would look weird, though...), and a Lamborghini Murcielago RGT (would be a skin for Ninja mono)

also, none of them would lean into the turns, the wheels would steer, like the Jetboat one and what ever the other ship is.

Dunno about a name for this character, but here's how it goes

The character is a puzzle one, and collects blocks like the others
It's power is to halt matches, on right click, such as, say you have 6 blocks of same colour about to leave the board, you activate the power and the match holds for 5s, allowing you to bridge gaps, and collect more blocks, making a bigger match and not loosing your chain.  Though the draw back is unlike normally, when you overfill a lane with a match, where the match leaves the board, when match hold is on, the board acts like there isn't a match and overfills, causing loss of score and respawn. As with this character the higher matches are possible, such as m21, each match is worth 20% less, meaning to compete with the other characters you need to attain this. Though to beat the other characters when they have m21, this characters ability to keep a continuous chain through out the track will need to be utilised.
The power will have a recharge time to it of a set amount after the match has left the board, or after an overfill, so no continuous use.
Austria is just like Yorkshire, but they have bigger hills.... oh and they have real snow too

When its ability is activated, collected blocks go on the bottom of the stack instead of the top, pushing the column up. This ability would always be available.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up (I'm sure similar ideas have), so if it has, sorry.

I had a pretty great name that seemed to fit well with the Audiosurf theme, but I forgot it (the idea came to me several months ago).

The idea behind the 'character' is that they can warp time, probably not in the way you're thinking.

Easy difficulty: When creating matches the player can hold down the left mouse button for a period of time (maybe a second or two) that decreases the amount of time it takes for blocks to get recorded as a "match" by 2x (so if it takes 3 seconds for it to register a match and give you points, holding it for the max amount of time would make it take only 1.5 seconds to register a match and give you your points)

Medium: Same concept except this time it slows down time instead of speeding it up. If you hold down the right mouse button, it doubles your time to get a match from the moment you press it (so it slows it down by 2x from the moment you hold right mouse). Ex: You see a block up ahead but it is too far and the blocks will disappear by the time you get there, hold right mouse button and it slows down the little timer when you have a match of three or more.

Hard: Both concepts in one, left click makes the blocks disappear faster, right click keeps them on the screen longer.

Also I should mention this idea was intended for mono-like gameplay, but I think it could work nicely with more than one color block as well. To me it would be very fun playing this character, if there are two versions of it (one for mono type gameplay and one for more than one color block) even better.

So, basically extend the match timer temporally to bridge gaps. As for making matches disappear faster, I don't see how that would help any.

For every second in "yin" which would be holding down left click, it speeds up and gives you "yangtime" (see what I did there!)

kinda like an infinite match timer? would make clear finish a nightmare.

So, just like mono but with red and blue cars. Your ship changes between red and blue by using the space bar. When you hit a car the same color as your ship it turns into a multicolor block. When you hit a block a different color than your ship it turns into a grey block. It's basically an addition to the mono side of gameplay. I could describe a way this could also be another double vision but I'm tired from typing all this.

To me this says Ikaruga meets Audiosurf.  This I do like.

edit: pedobear, unfortunately the "time" is controlled by the music, and Audiosurf automatically messes with the speed if you get too far out of sync.

The Rerun
Ability to go back to earlier in the song (5-10 seconds) to fix mistakes/get more combos. All blocks in grid will disappear. Can only be used 3 times in a song.

I'd love to see a new game mode very siilar to the curent eraser, with the only change of you getting a bigger and bigger point bonus if you have 3, 4 or 5 colors matched at once. I tried it out with Eraser elite, and I think it is very much fun to build up a match lke that. It also made picking up blocks and the Erasing-replacing uses more frequent.

Maybe a character which has a longer chain timer but can only collect one of the 5 colours at any one point. So as you are going along, you need to choose which colour to collect, making huge matches (hence slightly longer chain timer). So at first you collect purples only, (any other colour hit doesn't get collected), then you see a mass of greens, so you press LMB on the first green, the purples force match and then you collect the glut of greens etc. The way to get high points in the character would be large matches at full chain (just like every other character) though chaining would be harder, as you can't collect multiple colours etc. Would also make BN/SR pretty much impossible.
