That's from the log, but window says -

A channel tha is needed for this project was not found in the installation path : 3B1F74D6-65D7-4B91-9114-827027E4500D

More intrigue on this error found on the Steam forum, and another fix for it--someone discovered something called crypt.dll was the problem when they were running in XP and renamed it, then Audiosurf worked:

Well just to confirm that solution is a fix to the problem I had because low and behold when I finally reinstalled all my updates and software today AudioSurf stopped working. Went in to /system32/ in my case and renamed the Crypt.dll - and its working again but with a strange exception no peaks or blocks are generated in the game :/

IT WORRRRRKS!!!! IT WOOORRRRRRKKKS!!!!! FINALLY! I'm so happy! I just copied the crypt.dll file from the channels folder and pasted it in to Audisurf\Engine. Genius work and solving there guys! I can finally play the game and have lots and lots of fun :) Thank you for everything!
