I don't know if it's the same thing for this other person as it is for me, but..... I got this game a few days ago, signed up for an account in-game after installing..... It lets me log into my user page on the main site, but not on the game..... I'm posting a screencap of the window as it shows up. I'm confused though, since it let me sign up from the game, and it lets me sign in on the main site.... But it won't let me sign in on the game itself and track my songs. x_x;;;; I'm getting really sick of the guy telling me to log in all the time, too.... ><;;;

You have an illegal copy. The only legal copy is through Steam, if you paid for it, you were ripped off, if not, please don't come to the official foruims asking for help when you haven't bought the game.

it's a system and online store for game distribution and it was the only form of sale used for audiosurf and many valve games like the half-life series.

it has pretty much every PC game on it now and is actually pretty nice once you get used to it since it will let you download and play your games from any computer pretty quickly

Actually, most Valve games are sold in stores on CD as well as on Steam. So it's not the only form of sale.

Those retail copies do require Steam though and will install it.

I went to that Steam website, and got an account there.... But when I went to install the program.... Every time I try to start it, it says it can't find the internet... But obviously I'm online, if I'm posting this. o_o;;

I have a laptop, with Win7, using WiFi.... is any of this my problem? >>;;

Allow Steam through your firewall and all should be fine
