Kind of a double post but anyway  :P

I've just finished tweaking a new version of the above song
Careless - unfinished 1.3

This version is longer and more um, . . . up and downy...? yeah...

OK, I got a relatively interesting track using the double v guys (haven't tried others) for one of my tracks called Saint Technicatus.  Here's a link to an MP3.

http://www.policyoverkill.com/tunes/PolicyOverkill-Shadows-12-SaintTechnicatus.mp3

Now some infos!

Band - Policy Overkill (I'm the only member right now ;D)
Name - Saint Technicatus
BPM - 160
Genre - I'm not entirely sure.  It's electronic of some flavor.  I generally say Techno Hardcore because of the type of drums I used but your guess is as good as mine.
My high score - About 85,000 (I've had other lower scores but my cable connection ate them)
Legal Garbage - Play it all you want.  Send it to your friends.  Host it on LimeWire.  Whatever.  I'm not all copyright police about this stuff like some musicians.  As long as you don't sell it without my permission, I'm not going to come after you.
I'm sewage flavored.

Hmm...that slowdown in the middle of the final plunge looks the like perfect spot for a loop, don't you think?   haha.

Nice songs guys, keep them coming.  Hopefully it won't be long before I can get my guys together and get some shit recorded.

An old song, first live mix with unfamiliar setup and playlist :)

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZXAUJYZB

It's a fun song to play, some nice track parts which I won't mention so I don't spoil the surprise :)

A few issues, I'll get around to fixing them one day (double beats and a couple bad fades)

Genre: Dance/Trance

::EDIT:: Posted a movie, not my best score though lol

Don't think I haven't tried  :( , I can't work out what would give me a loop.  ??? They seem rather random, one song I made had one right near the end, then I added a bit more to the song and it was right at the beginning.

Anyway I've just finished a new song:

Ok WTF, there was a millisecond click at the beginning of the song, so I faded the offending synth in, and the track was completely different, there was like a billion white blocks the first time I played through and a loop at the end ??? So I'm giving you the two options:

Rolling (click)
and
(still WTF!?) Rolling with White Blocks (no click)
This one is designed for Pusher/Eraser/Pointman guys, it kinda sucks with Mono. It's got a gentle roll (hence the lame name) which makes it easier to see ahead, and lots of big clusters of same colour blocks.

WirlWind,
Man that track is bouncy, I almost stealtherized it on Ninja but hit a grey one in the uphill bit (doh!)

Most everything I have is available here: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=784703&content=music for free download.

Im not sure if this is the right way to post this.
But, I dig the game. I pretty much use it ONLY to "play" my own creations.

Glad I saw this thread...

Well, I do weird quirky/comedy/parody music. But despite that, it actually works pretty well in this game. So here are some mp3s:

Convention - Acoustic/accordion song about going to a con.

End Scene and Fade to Black - parody of "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs" by Fall Out Boy about Michael Bay and the overuse of CGI.

The Environment - A preachy song about how to protect the environment... not really.

Final Destination - parody of "Ob La Di, Ob La Da" by The Beatles about death.

The Land Before Time - six minute rock opera about the extinction of the dinosaurs

Old People - parody of "Teenagers" by My Chemical Romance

I Have a Great Idea for a Screenplay - a song about Zeus and time travel, this probably works the best in the game.

We Don't Take Music Seriously - experimental song that uses random objects as instruments

Still Alive (Uranium Version) - parody of "Still Alive" from Portal, but about Pokémon.

Enjoy! :)

Alright, this is cool.

Well, my friend and I LANed just recently, and stayed up all night into the wee hours of the morning, and created this with Fruity Loops Studio.

http://www.mediafire.com/?2yy0yni8sxm

We then immediately played it on Audiosurf.
And although it's not the best song, it makes a WONDERFUL ride, in my opinion.

I'd really appreciate if people would try it out =D

And oh yeah, 10 points to anyone who recognizes those sound clips.

OK, another entry.  Here's a remix of Happy Havoc Industries tinkered together specifically for Audiosurf.  It's almost 16 minutes long so get ready for something a bit grueling.  I'm doing some more work with the source crap from this one to get a much more intense version.  Keep you posted.  Also, if anybody wants to do another remix I could be convinced to provide lots of source files.

Song - Happy Havoc Industries (Surf Mix)
By - Policy Overkill
Finished - A few hours ago ;)

I don't really know if this is a WIP (safe bet) or something I'll never look at again, but here's an FL piano piece. I'd love to post a recording of it actually being played on a piano, but I thinks that would be impossible.

And some of it feels a little borrowed, but it's a fun piece, so I didn't mind.

EDIT:
Not really my genre, but I just have to give props for the awesome production value, MrToxin.

I mostly play as the Ninja Mono, but I occasionally like to play as the eraser, or as I call it, the "ethnic cleanser"!

Shadows on Water
The Sun Can't See Shadows

Hola, all.  First time poster so forgive me if I screw something up.  But I thought I'd share my most recent concoction; as you can see it's a slower piece than I imagine most people hear around these parts but I find those songs just as entertaining on Audiosurf.  Hope you all like it!

I haven't tried some of these with Audio Surf, so I'm not sure if they're all fun with it or not, but since I have them online I thought I'd link them here.  They were created with a combination of software and analog modular synths.  Anyway:

I just listened to your creation. Really funny! When I get home from work, I'm going to play it in Audiosurf and see how I do.

Couldn't figure out where those sound clips were from, but they did sound familiar.

Edit:
Well, when I got home I played it in Mono and MonoPro. I gotta say that I'm more pleased with the Mono score I got. I recored myself playing both, but I'm not satisfied with my surfing on the song...so not posting it. Haha

Heya!

Try this little funk-demo I made. It's a bit short, but pretty intense on pro and elite ;D

You can download it at last.fm here.

-Thorbone7

P.s. It's actually 1:19 long, the last.fm time is wrong.

I've got more songs if people like this.
