Audiosurf Can't Launch

On this day I can't launch Audiosurf. As Audiosurf tries to launch I receive the following message as shown in the screenshot:

I restarted Steam but I continue to receive the same message. I launched another Steam game and it launched normally.

Everything is fine over here, so that's client side. Does clearing the cache work? It's usually the first tip that appears in forums.

I just finished validating the files and there was an indication that 5 files failed to validate. I had tried to validate the files yesterday but everything was fine. Thanks for the tip.

Head over to Audiosurf's "engine" folder, then the Support one and delete the mentioned file in the dialog, then verify the files again.

If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the game.
