Mono also fits better to the music. Because Mono also the blocks react to the music in coloring and such.

Uh, no? Puzzle fits much better to the music more often than mono. The block coloring still reacts to the music, but in a much more meaningful way. It's really neat to see the red/yellow matching up to an intense beat and at the same time having the other colors perfectly mirror the intensity of the various instruments in that same part of music. It doesn't happen perfectly all that often, but it still matches up to the music more closely and in a more interesting way than mono does. In mono everything can only be one color at time. That's boring and inaccurate. Though I'm sure there are some songs that do fit better in mono overall.

Sorry, no, coloured blocks in Mono don't have a single colour as in puzzle players, they constantly change according to the intensity of what's playing in that exact moment. I find that to be more accurate (and fun!) than having predetermined colours on the blocks (in puzzle characters you can sometimes see violet blocks in a stream of red ones. WTF.).

Music isn't a linear flow of equal intensity beats though, it's a mixture. Music contains overlapping upbeats, subtones, rhythms and much more. Having a purple in a cluster of reds and yellows represents the dynamics of the music in a more accurate way.

ViRUS:
But how can it be accurate when you go from full red to full violet? I find the transitions between colours to be much more representative of the music, since the game can go out of the predetermined colours set in your configuration by mixing them right on the spot. Maybe it's something like the argument for/against digital speed meters in cars; some people like the accuracy of digital ones while some others prefer how the analogue ones give you a general idea of how fast you're going.

Although the blocks for Puzzlers are rounded to the nearest of 3/4/5 bands, this is a much better representation than rounding to a single intensity.
