Awesome. I can't wait to see more. Honestly didn't think there'd be a new Audiosurf game. I hope this one turns out nice and polished.

Now, take my money!!!

I doubt this would be an april fools, considering the beta signup and discussion about code. I would be disappointed if it turned out to be a joke.

I agree that it's doubtful that the annoucement of Audiosurf Air is an April Fool's joke because of the beta signup. It costs money to maintain the ASA website and it costs money to develop the game as it is already.

Rumor has it that the new game will be free for all AudioSurf players who have played more than 1000 hours!  ;)

Now there's an April Fool's joke. Such a condition would be nice though. ;)

It would be a smart and innovative promotion for all of us veterans to promote the new game. ;)  What better promoters than the players that are the true & loyal fans of the game?

if they did something like that for old AS players it should be by more than hours, players like h3x and virus added a lot to the game by running the tournament and writing the tournaments websites and doing mods.

game time doesn't mean much. should be people who have more than 1k song plays or something.

How about those of us who helped that one time and got a free game, we give up whatever that was that I forget the name of for ASA?

Yeah.

Jhooqe has a point.

And Defense Grid is already in our Steam list. We can't give that back.
(Thanks for that Dylan, got lots of enjoyment out of that too)

well really, i paid $10 for AS on release, and am still playing it almost everyday, so think i got my monies worth, and would gladly pay a other $10 to $20 for a new one.

oh and i have managed to get a free game of equal value to that i played hell out of. Thanks Dylan.

I've hardly played AS as much as many of you (Steam shows a mere 30 hours, but that seems way too low) but even I would say the $10 was money well spent compared to many many other games I've bought over the years.

I'd be happy either way, to me ASA will be worth £10 easily (even if for the longevity of AS alone). DG was such a brilliant surprise as well, already said this before, but, thanks Dylan!
Australia is kinda awesome, but it's no Yorkshire.

I haven't been around here in forever, but hearing that Audiosurf as an idea isn't dead has made me quite happy.  :)  Signed up for the beta, now just a matter of being patient.
