Missing Text on Buttons and Menus

I ran "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" and then restarted my computer before running the game again and it worked. Im not having any issues at all.

that didn't seem to work for me it worked for the first page of the tutorial and thats it....

You can try to disable Hardware Transform&Lighting, it works but makes game a little slower.

i've found a solution to this, but it has to be done everytime i play the game (so the word temporary is an understatement). it is a graphics bug.

this is what i did:

upon getting into the game, i go to options, then graphics, i check the disable HD&T box and click ok.

i know have text on the buttons, however once i quit the game i have to go through this whole process again as the game doesn't remember graphics settings (like refresh rates). hope this helps.

The new patch fixes the text in the movies for me, but in other locations (such as the tutorial hints about what the bonus block types do), it is still broken.

Its ATI cards, some people have a lot of problems with games running with them. Driver updates might work or if not, throw that shit away!

the newest updates still do not resolve this problem, any news as to when it will be dealt with? i took the screenshot below from the last game i played.

I have the exact same problem as in kilgore's post, with missing text on buttons. Going to full screen and turning off Hardware T&L fixes it, but I prefer to play in a window.

I'm using an iMac, running in Boot Camp with an ATI 2600 HD XT.

Have you tried just plain reinstalling Audiosurf?

I bought audiosurf through steam and downloaded it in full again today. The problem did not go away.
