Hey everyone,

I just downloaded the audiosurf demo after having it recommended by a friend. I'm getting the bug with missing text on various buttons and boxes, like so:

Is there a way to fix this? If I buy the full version, will that fix this?

I'd really appreciate any help, as this is making the game quite unplayable for me.

Thanks very much.

Try some of the ideas suggested in the sticky threads at the top of this forum section.

If you have tried some, what were they? So we can have an idea of what not to suggest.

Thanks NightRyder, but none of those ideas really seemed related to my problem.

I gone ahead and purchased the game in spite of this bug. This has not fixed the problem, but I've kind of figured out what all the buttons do now anyway. Still, I'd really love a fix for this as soon as possible.

Sorry about this--we are working on a fix. We think it's a graphics driver problem.

invertedtwisted:

what video card do you have.  more bugs with known hardware configurations the easier it'll be for them to track down the issue

I too, have this very same bug.

I'm using a 20" aluminium imac, dual booted with Windows via Boot Camp.

The graphics card is an ATI Radeon 9600XT.

Hope this helps!

i have a similar bug, but at different locations.

with me the login/create account screen buttons are invisible, and the ingame "hint" messages(rather annoying when your game freezes you but you can't see why)

mobile intel 965 Express chipset family
1280x800 60hz 32bit
2-1-2008 drivers(latest)

i also noticed this problem exists in half-life and counter-strike(and modded versions of both)

I can see all the menus and text now and the game doesn't crash anymore. I was having the same problem that the original poster was having. I was really missing out.

audibleforce, what did you do differently that caused the game to work properly? Us other ATI owners would like to know your secret.

Yup, just thought I'd add that I'm using an ATI Radeon 2600 XT.

Seems its a problem with these cards, can't wait for the fix Smiley
